Sun: *cute lil tail spin move so Blake can finally go back to her team*
Blake: *awkwardly stares at her team while Yang descends from the stairs like the angel she is*
Yang: *hands off the blue raspberry flavor relic to uncle bird*
Blake: *cautiously approaches Ruby and Weiss first bc she doesnāt know how to interact with Yang 1-on-1*
Yang: *intercepts Blake before she gets there*
Yang: *is 110% emotionally and physically exhausted from fighting Merc/Em and confronting bird mom*
Yang: *conflicted and yangsty eye contact*
Blake: *awkward eye contact, tears welling up*
Blake: Yang, I am so sorry. Iā
Yang: *hugs awkward cat girl bc she doesnāt have the emotional capacity to have another drawn out convo but also is so unspeakably happy that her partner is back*
Blake: *hugs back*
**this is a good point for some face close ups and tears so jot that down. Also a good point to play a soft acoustic version of BMBLB that I KNOW Jeff must have made**
Ruby: *collapses bc sheās been thru so much someone give this girl a cookie and let her rest pls*
Weiss: *gayly grabs Rubyās gay arm and clings to it in a gay fashion*
Blake and Yang: *rejoin other teammates*

Weiss and Yang: *eye contact. Love me some eye contact!!*
Weiss: *approving nod bc sheās just as proud of Yang as the rest of us dammit and is happy she considered Blakeās feelings*
I see a lot of people complaining that Yang and Blake did not have a talk. Iāve seen a lot of posts stating that Yangās PTSD and anger was absent. It was clearly in the episode if you look closely. You can see Yang frown and glare at Blake.Ā
As Ruby is talking, Yang remembers all her anger. I imagine it was then she had a flashback to her talk with Weiss. Yang CHOSE not to be angry. She decided to be there for her friend.Ā
She chose to FORGIVE Blake for leaving. Yang progressed. Yes, I still think we need a talk. I think if the writers had Yang yell at Blake or display any resentment, it would not have been growth. All the growth weāve seen this volume would have been for nothing. Honestly, I believe the writing was spot on, and the fact that Yang could choose to be strong and present for her friend – and her team – is what we should all be focusing on.
