Sun: *cute lil tail spin move so Blake can finally go back to her team*

Blake: *awkwardly stares at her team while Yang descends from the stairs like the angel she is*

Yang: *hands off the blue raspberry flavor relic to uncle bird*

Blake: *cautiously approaches Ruby and Weiss first bc she doesn’t know how to interact with Yang 1-on-1*

Yang: *intercepts Blake before she gets there*

Yang: *is 110% emotionally and physically exhausted from fighting Merc/Em and confronting bird mom*

Yang: *conflicted and yangsty eye contact*

Blake: *awkward eye contact, tears welling up*

Blake: Yang, I am so sorry. I—

Yang: *hugs awkward cat girl bc she doesn’t have the emotional capacity to have another drawn out convo but also is so unspeakably happy that her partner is back*

Blake: *hugs back*

Blake: *exchanges a few words with R and W. Whatever they actually did in the episode is fine here*

Weiss: *approving nod bc she’s just as proud of Yang as the rest of us dammit and is happy she considered Blake’s feelings*
