Okay so everyone is really happy and excited with the Trials of Apollo, and everyone is talking about Apollo, Percy and other very important people that i dont want to mention because i dont want to spoil anyone.. and the ship being canon and stuff BUT NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT MEG McCAFFREY. LIKE WHAt. First of all she is a gorgeous child and is practically the main character along side Apollo and NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT HOW COOL AND COURAGEOUS SHE IS. I MEAN SHE FOUGHT A GIANT ANT WHILE BEING A CHILD AFRAID OF INSECTS JUST TO SAVE SOMEONE´S ASS. She is so mature and childish at the same time. The character of Meg McCaffrey is gold. And I know I´m not giving a lot of details but that’s because i don’t want to spoil anyone. BUT when y’all read it or finish reading it or what ever, think about her. I mean Apollo is great, and is great that they mention Percy back and that the ship is canon, believe me I’m very happy but I don’t like the fact that they are missing her. Missing how great her character is… They are kinda missing like ¾ of the books by forgetting her tbh.

i’d just like to remind people that Percy and Calypso were reunited and there are no hard feelings or anything like thank the gods there’s no animosity or whatever.

Examples:

When they first saw each other, Percy and Calypso had hugged awkwardly. I hadn’t witnessed such a tense greeting since Patroclus met Achilles’s war prize, Briseis.

“Since leaving Ogygia, I have no powers,” she admitted. “I am fully mortal. I keep hoping, but—”

Rachel grinned and wheeled Chiron away. Calypso and Percy helped Leo to his feet.

Instead, he seemed more interested in saying good-bye to Leo and Calypso. I wasn’t part of their conversation, but the three of them seemed to reach some sort of mutual understanding. Percy and Leo embraced. Calypso even pecked Percy on the cheek.
