Actually i think its really telling that chloe is the first to show that the butterflys cant akumatize you without negative emotions. The fact that she wasnt terrified of getting akumatized again really showcases her willpower in defying emotions.

We’ve seen it before countless times, when she pushed away her classmates and avoided becoming emotionally attatched to anyone, except Adrian who she knows wont abandon her. She doesnt even feel secure in her friendship with sabrina, which is why she is always trying to buy her friendship to secure it.

But shes well used to being alone, and rejected by her family and her classmates, and so she rejects them first. Builds up so many walls keeping her emotions from showing any weakness that when hawmoth attacks she doesn’t even hesitate. Shes only just begun to open up a little, so closing herself off to the butterflys was childsplay. No one can make her feel anything without her permission, expecially not a second time. Heck, its amazing she ever got akumatizes before, its no wonder it took something huge, like ladybug rejecting her and treating her like a villian of paris for her to finally show a weak moment for hawkmoth to exploit.

Chloe refuses to be controlled, manipulated, or to have her emotions exploited. You go girl!
