Sometimes I wonder if I’d still be non-binary if a single NB person I knew in person believed that AMAB folks could be non-binary and I just developed an aversion to it because of the constant misgendering from inside my own community

There’s a part of the trans community that only sees assigned gender as something that afab people are allowed to reject, and especially with non-binaryness. People said they supported me and stuff like that, but the amount of times they “accidentally” referred to me as he/him really showed what they actually thought about me. You’d think people that went by they/them would be able to refer to me as they/them too but I just looked too much like a guy is seems.
