When will people get that men can be abused too, and because of the current sociopolitical climate it’s super easy to abuse someone, fake something up in Photoshop or Premiere, and then claim they abused you?

I had a teacher in high school – best guy in the world, super supportive, amazing soccer coach, 10/10 dad jokes – whose wife divorced him, then claimed that he was abusing her. He was fired from his job teaching, since this happened over the summer and he wasn’t tenured, and forced to jump through a million expensive legal rings. During the trial, it finally came out that all of her evidence was trumped up bullsh*t, and evidence was found proving that she had, in fact, been abusing him.

He didn’t file charges. He said, and I quote, “I just want my life back. I want to get back to teaching kids and coaching soccer at CHS, and leave this behind me.” Of course, it wasn’t that easy; to this day I don’t think he’s managed to land another job at a school, because that bullshit accusation is engraved in everyone’s heads now and can never be retracted. Last time I saw him he was working at a Walmart.

One of the best people I ever knew lost everything that mattered to him when his ex wife falsely accused him of assaulting her, so I’ll be damned if I’m going to sit by and watch a bunch of uneducated internet shits crap on someone else who has already been shown to have been falsely accused. Mr. Depp is a national fucking treasure, and a wonderful human being, and has already been proven innocent beyond the shadow of a doubt. Give it a rest, already.
