A Nico arc that wasn’t brought up but 100% happened was the fact that he grew up before being gay was legal. When many people were killed for being gay. Imagine being a small child and internalising this and then has a crush on Percy (and likely other boys before getting trapped in the Lotus Hotel) but still thinks being gay is wrong and still thinks it’s illegal. And now he’s just happily prancing around with Will not hating himself for being gay and I just wish this was addressed
