99% of Yukine haters are people who don’t read the manga (I don’t think it’s even possible to hate Yukine if you’re caught with the manga). I believe that happens because all of Season 1 (excluding the Rabo filler) was Yukine’s arc and featured him being all angsty and, let’s face it, acting like a selfish brat. I guess that’s why many people remembered hating him and kept thinking he was annoying during the gap between the two seasons. Thankfully, the majority of people have changed their minds after seeing his development, but sometimes the hate is so irrational that I have even read some people saying “good for him for sacrificing himself for Yato, that was nice… but I still hate him”
