@staff: We totally have your best intersts at heart and want you to be able to create freely! That’s why we want you to oppose Article 13! We have absolutely no ulterior motives whatsoever.
@staff: . o O (Man, sure hope they forget that we’re literally the representatives of a $300 billion telecomms corporation, and thus fundamentally at odds with end users over intellectual property rights.)
150k people on tumblr dot com: Okay!
@staff: Whew!
Me: You, uh. You know they’re lying, right? The only concern they have for your creativity is if they can make a buck off of it.
@staff, less than 2 hours later: Anyway we’re gonna arbitrarily ban huge swathes of queer content and basically a random assortment of images. Because if we don’t someone might accidentally see a nipple, or think they’re not alone in this hellish world.

  1. Soup.io – well-known alternative to Tumblr. Reblogging, post types, themes, collab blogs, dashboard, artsy, great community already there. Soup can auto-import everything you’ve posted on Tumblr.
  2. TypePad – Includes reblogging. Dashboard and post types similar to Tumblr.
  3. Jux – Artful posts, beautiful blogging experience

Reblogging cause one day it just may be neccessary.

It became necessary

WordPress will also import Tumblr blogs.

any of yall who agree with the nsfw ban keep in mind: they aren’t doing it to keep the minors safe or to get rid of pedophiles. they’re doing it because they wanna be back on the app store. they give less than a shit about their userbase and dont think for even one second that there are good intentions behind this ban

In case anyone else noticed

I was looking through my blog the other day to show my boyfriend what was going on…and i watched one of my posts disappear before my eyes…I hadn’t even accidently pressed delete it gives you a prompt for that to make sure…but I just watched it slide off to the side and now its gone…can anyone explain this? Does anyone else have posts that are magically gone? Cause I’m,gonna assume Tumblr is going through and trying to get rid if posts that are calling them on there shit…

I WANT EVERYONE TO REBLOG THIS..PEOPLE NEED TO BE MADE AWARE OF THIS..THIS IS IMPORTANT
