beauty-and-bones:

Just because the food is there does not mean you have to eat it.

Just because you’ve been offered food, does not mean you have to say yes and accept it.

Just because you’re craving an unhealthy food, does not mean you have to go out and buy it.

There are always other options for better results. The choice is always yours, and you decide your outcome.

If someone looks uncomfortable when you hug them, please stop hugging them.

If someone shuffles away when you stand beside them, don’t move closer to them again.

If someone shrugs your hand of their shoulder, don’t fucking put your hand back on.

Don’t be an asshole.
If someone says they don’t like to be touched, I don’t care how much it “offends” you. Stop touching them.

Stop.

*cough* Mother.

Not Sanders Sides but… This is very important!

There’s someone at my work who won’t stop touching my back and I HATE it… I also can’t stand my neck being touched and my brother tickles my neck all the time because he likes to see me flinch about it (and I can’t stand it).. and due to past events in my life, I hate when people I don’t really know touch me without warning/asking… Please make sure someone is comfortable before you touch them.. Ask if you’re unsure! Respect people’s boundaries.

shayllura:

unlike lotor, allura never considered hurting the white lion to get what she wanted. instead she gave herself up, because that’s what she does. she restored the balmera even though she knew it might cost her life. she erased the infected technology on the castle despite it being the only way she could visit her father’s memory. she gave herself up to the galra so that shiro could get away. this sense of selflessness is what makes her such a good person. it has always come at a great cost to her, which never deters her from doing in anyway. but this time, allura’s willingness to give herself up for the sake of her team and the universe is what proves her worthy of the secrets of alchemy. her good heart grants her the gift of basking in the memories of altean scientists before her. altea may be gone, but she has the knowledge and the well-wishes of these ancient alteans. she finally gains something for herself, something that might heal her mourning psyche, and she absolutely deserves it.
