That last RWBY episode made me feel really conflicted, like I want to know more about Oz and Salem but I feel team RWBY should have tried to calm down a little even though their anger is justified, and like I get why blake and weiss wouldn’t completely trust Qrow especially considering he tends to side with oz, but like Yang that’s your Uncle and even he was shooken about everything. I also feel empathetic for Ozpin even if his actions aren’t completely right.

To be fair to Yang, she really only lifted her arms and nkt even in a ‘I will absolutely punch you’ kind of way. I don’t think thay she would have attacked Qrow, I think it was more of a ‘this is our choice, keep out of it’ kinda thing. I’m still not happy that she did that all things considered, but I ultimately don’t think she’d have physiaclly fought him.

It’s like I’ve been saying, this is a VERY gray situation. Ozpin’s clearly got his reaons and in the long run, I think forcing the answer like this is gonna ahve issues. I seriously thing that after this, Oz is going to give them all the silent treatment because now he knows for sure that he can’t trust anyone. Which in turn is going to make the RWBY girls more doubtful and mistrusting of him as it confirms their suspicions. I do think one way or the other, things will get straightened out by the time the volume is over, but until then this is going to create a divide, just like Salem wants.

In the end, I think everything is going to depend on what we’re about to find out in the flashback. But yeah, the girls deserve to know all things considered, and it’s good thay they aren’t blindly following Oz and are asking questions. But I don’t think that forcing it like this is the best way and is going to have consequences for everyone involved. But it’s been done now. All that’s left is to face the fallout.
