Okay, I get it. Nora is a child who is just as abused as Yato, who suffered the same things as Yato, who did everything she could to steer Trash Dad away from abusing her like Yato, but who didn’t have a role model to guide her away from the life of obeying her father like Yato did. I get it. I appreciate it. A redemption arc might be cool, but I’d prefer to see a little more of the ‘other’ Nora before I see her as a new friend for Yukine – let alone a love interest. Let’s not forget Nora tried to kill Yukine once, for the crime of Yato favouring him more than her.
So now that’s cleared up, can we move onto more important matters?
Like this?
I really don’t understand this fandom sometimes. WHY IS THIS GOING UNNOTICED? WHY HAVE I NOT SEEN ANYONE TALKING ABOUT THIS?
Trash Dad is standing there, looking down at Yukine and Nora, surrounded by ayakashi.
The situation is made worse by the fact that we don’t know if he’s going to act now, or leave Yukine alone for longer? Either way, this is a bad situation. Really bad.
Even without Mizuchi, Trash Dad still has the power to reveal the God’s Greatest Secret to Yukine, if he simply captures him and names him.
There’s also the fact Trash Dad said himself Yukine would one day be ‘rightfully mine’. Meaning he’s always had the intention of naming him. What could that mean to both Yukine and Yato?
And another thing…
How did he know where Yukine was? I can understand Nora always seeming to find him if she’s been purusing him, but Trash Dad was literally just in Heaven before banishing Nora. How did he manage to find him under an overpass?
I would hate to think that Nora had led Trash Dad to Yukine if she’s starting to redeem herself. So I’ll settle with the alternative:
Trash Dad needs a new shinki to fight Yato with since he knows Yato is out to kill him, and his first choice is pretty obvious.
So yeah, in short, I’m fucking scared for Yukine. Adachitoka, please don’t hurt my baby anymore.
