They way people reacted when Ichigo kissed Hiro vs when Klaxo princess ‘kissed’ Hiro is…interesting.

Some people where out here saying that what Ichigo did was sexual assault, or given the themes if the show was at least a metaphor for it, but then when the Klaxo princess comes around and invades strelitzia, kicks zero two out, ‘tastes’ Hiro in a way that wouldn’t be out of place in a damn hentai and then forces control of strelitzia half of y’all are hush.

Like we got a whole scene of her tainting something that was a symbol of the connection between hiro2 (strelitzia) and doing it in a way that in this anime has been heavily connected with the idea of sex/sexuality (piloting a franxx with someone).
