I don’t think people are hating on Lotura because of Allura’s skin color, I’m pretty sure it has to do with what happened this season. But regardless of what happened, Lotura is still a valid ship and no Lotura shipper deserves hate or freaking death threats over it. Like seriously everyone leave Lotura shippers alone

This goes beyond Lotura, and applies to almost every black woman ship I’ve shipped. 

How it applies here is that  Allura just can’t be happy, the writers have yet again torn something she cares about away from her, and morphed him into a caricature, made her out to be the fool for I dunno the 3rd time now and put her through all this drama just so she can see how mature Larry is and rebound to him. Thats bullshit and I’m tired of it.
