There’s this anti bullying campaign ad that’s narrated by Steven universe’s Amethyst and Jasper and when I watch su recordings from time to time

It’s like Jasper and Amethyst bantering, Jasper calling her a runt, and Amethyst saying that people who say mean things might just be insecure themselves.

And that’s a good message for kids.

Although I don’t know how effective it is.

I feel like for really young kids it might work but for older ones, well, kids aren’t as dumb as you think.

Telling someone to turn the proverbial cheek to other bullies can be misread in so many different ways.

So many.

First way?

No fighting back.

Second?

People who are dicks to you always have a reason for it.

Which is not true. Jeffrey Dahmer ate penises and beheaded men, and the worst thing that ever happened to him was that his parents divorced.
