tHIS IS SO FUNNY BECAUSE IT IMPLIES THAT EITHER OF THEM WOULD EVER BE EMBARRASSED IN FRONT OF THE OTHER, BUT LIKE?? THEY NEVER ARE?? EVEN THINGS THAT THEY BY ALL RIGHTS SHOULD BE MORTIFIED BY, THEY’RE JUST SO UNAFFECTED. Like, take Shiro’s BLAM, BLAM, BLAM for example. Keith was already annoyed with all the bas sound effects, but then Shiro goes off to and Keith is just pissed. And yet!! Shiro never falters!! He stands behind his dumb laser noises 100%!! No shame!!
So like, even if they get into silly antics and call each other out for it, no one’s ever ashamed by it?? It’s super cute and pretty damn endearing?? Keith has done some ridiculous stuff too–blindly racing Lance until they crash? But again, he never backs down from a challenge and even if he makes a fool of himself he never lets himself lose his pride lmao. What’s even funnier with these two is that they’ll end up just…saying the sappiest things that would literally make anyone and everyone else flustered and nervous, but they never have any shame or nerves or it.
Like, when Shiro(Kuron) says, “How many times are you gonna have to save me before this is over?” and teases him with that smile? Keith isn’t even phased. His answer is an easy, unabashed, “As many times as it takes.” They’re able to freely admit their feelings to one another, and it’s really very sweet. So yeah, these dorks have been together so long and seen so much of each other they’re way past the point of shame lmao. It’s adorable.
