Also like the pro-life movement really could of done a better job in terms of intersectionality but also because of how pregnant people are viewed. Like it’s sort of created this other culture in certain circles where it’s like your pregnant that’s your problem, without realizing pregnant people are an extremely vulnerable population like 6% of non-pregnant woman are murdered, but for pregnant people that statistic jumps to 20%, and domestic violence and abuse rates increase as well 

Also especially in political circles the talk around pregnancy is almost always associated with the pro-life vs pro-choice debate when they’re honestly two different issues entirely. And it’s a shame because black women and infants die at rates 3-4 times higher than white babies and there’s so little research and education on it but once u even start to say the word pregnancy people are like lol I would never have kids
