Dear sibling in Christ,
“Homosexuals” were never mentioned in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. In fact, the word “homosexual” wasn’t coined until well after Jesus’s time, and any translation that includes it is in fact a mistranslation. Please do look into it.
Followers, if you have anything to add, please do.

Correct, “homosexual” first appeared as a word in the late 1800s, and first appeared in Bibles in the mid 1900s.
Also 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 is talking about pagan fertility rituals.

not to mention that historically it was never ‘gay’ sex that was criticized – these texts are coming out of a period where there was renewed support behind the philosophical idea that any sex (regardless of whatever combination of genders is participating – so that includes a man and a woman) being had that wasn’t for actively trying to conceive a child was ‘unnatural’.
