and instead iroh had a cup of tea and a chat with the mugger and told him that he believed in him and thought he could become a good masseur

What I find especially hilarious about this is that this was apparently inspired by one of Sifu Kisu’s martial arts instructors having a real encounter with a mugger and criticizing the mugger’s stance before disarming them. The fact that this scene is a slight dramatization of a true story makes it even funnier.
